Fertile Ground is a NON CURATED showcase for emerging and/or established artists produced with full production values. The evening consists of work shown by five choreographers, followed by a moderated discussion -over wine and cheese- that integrates the choreographers, dancers, and audience members. (Participation by choreographer is required) This series offers a excellent opportunity for participants to share new and developing work then receive informative feedback about it in a supportive environment. The Take Root series is a CURATED opportunity for emerging and/or established artist to take the next step in their careers by sharing a full evening of work with full production values. Two choreographers may also share an evening. The series is open to various dance aesthetics; selections will be based upon artistic merit. Green Space Blooms is a CURATED six-night dance festival for emerging and/or established artists produced with full production values. Each evening will feature a different nightly line-up of 5-6 choreographers representing a diverse genre of completed work. The evening concludes with a reception featuring live musical guests honoring the many ethnic communities of Queens. Dates: April 13, 14, 15 & 20, 21, 22, 2012 (All shows at 8pm)
